This wire harness is out of an automatic transmission, but it can be used w/manual transmission. The BCM (Body Control Module holds the ” As-Built” configuration data. The BCM communicates to the PCM and tells the car’s electrical network exactly what equipment it was built with.

The BCM serves as the central gateway that stores the vehicle configuration parameters, telling the PCM whether the car is equipped with a manual or automatic transmission. “While the PCM physically drives the transmission, the BCM acts as the master profile hub that communicates the transmission configuration across the CAN-bus network.” The wire harness is fully compatible with both automatic and manual transmission models making this a direct fit for either setup.

“Cross-compatibility note: This harness shares the exact same architecture as the 5.0L model, differing only by a single omitted fuse. Populating that vacant fuse slot renders this harness fully functional for 5.0L setups.”
