Confirm the headlight style
Match model year, body front, composite or sealed-beam arrangement, left and right housings, marker and corner lamps, bulb type, and connector. Conversion fronts and aftermarket header panels can change mounting.
Compare locating tabs, adjusters, seals, vents, and bulb retainers before removing the originals.
Protect trim and document adjustment
Mask nearby painted edges, photograph gaps and adjuster positions, and label connectors. Remove retainers with trim tools rather than twisting the housing.
